Rockford Postal ECU celebrates 85th
Nearly 300 members of Rockford Postal ECU as well as staff and board members were on hand March 19 to help the credit union celebrate 85 years of service. The program included Joni Senkpeil, ICUL Chapter Liaison and John Hansen, ICUL Director for the Rockford Area Chapter who honored the credit union on this achievement.
CT Community CU recognized for 75 years of service

REAL Solutions holds first in-person meeting for 2012
llinois REAL Solutions held the first of two on-site meetings for 2012 for partner credit unions last month. The main highlighted topics were: Attracting Young Members, Eco-Friendly Loans, and a Comparison of Popular Pre-Paid Cards. Presenters were: Jonathon Fuhrman, Mrktg. Lunches with Dan continue in 2012
As part of his effort to dialogue with credit union officials, ICUL’s President/CEO Dan Plauda hosts luncheons around the state at the chapter level. His latest lunch was with the Aurora chapter. Dan, other board and staff members updated attendees on a variety of topics.
QLN, ICUL, DFI discuss troubled debt, loan modifications
The Illinois CUES Quality Lending Network (QLN)discussed troubled debt restructuring and loan mods at its March meeting. Included on the panel were (from left): Rich Klecun, Sup. Examiner NCUA, Chicago; Con O’Mahoney, Senior Technical Specialist, ICUL; Brad Bergmooser, Corp. Counsel, ICUL; and David Anderson, Acting Problem Case Officer, IDFPR.
