Spirit of Service Awards

Dear CEO:

Wouldn't you agree that it is important to recognize people who go the extra mile for credit unions?  Certainly, those who create a living example of the movement's "people helping people" philosophy help credit unions grow and thrive.

To that end, the Illinois Credit Union League is proud to sponsor the Annual Spirit of Service Awards to recognize one outstanding volunteer and one outstanding employee within the Illinois credit union movement. Here is how the winners benefit:

• Individual Recognition.  The Spirit of Service Awards honor the real unsung heroes -- individual credit union volunteers and paid staff members -- who contribute extraordinary efforts on behalf of their individual credit unions and communities.  Winners will be acknowledged during the Awards Program of the 82nd Annual Convention (April 18 - 20, 2013 at the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center).
  
  
  
• Cash Prize.  Honorees will receive $150 along with a special tribute award sponsored jointly by the League and ICUL Service Corporation.

I strongly encourage you to look within your own credit union for deserving individuals who embody the spirit of credit unions.  Everyone wants to feel valued for their achievements and be recognized as unique individuals.  The Spirit of Service Awards are designed just for this purpose.
