- Describe your BEST PRACTICE/HIGH POINT:
The Burnett Chapter held a special event last year that we feel was our "high point". We conducted our first Chapter Trivia Night. We had ten categories of ten questions which were of varied subject matter (t.v. theme songs, Presidents, Sports, celebrity yearbook pictures, etc.). We also included basket raffles and a 50/50 drawing. The entry fee was $10.00 per person which included soda, beer and popcorn. (Many participants brought appetizers for their table of players). Our attendance was great. We had 23 tables of 8 participants to a table.
- What made it a HIGH POINT or PEAK EXPERIENCE?
Fun and money!! It was a super evening – everyone had a great time. And we raised money for Cupac.
- What POSITVE IMPACT did it have for participants and the Chapter?
We had many participants from our community who were outside the credit union movement. Participants were able to become a little more aware of who we are and what we do. Also for those of us in the credit union industry we were inspired by our success and of course, the money raised helps our Cupac efforts. We are planning another Trivia Night!!
