
Marketing Eagle Award Winner International Credit Union Week
Kankakee Valley Chapter produced a 12-page color newspaper insert which was circulated in 34,000 editions of The Daily Journal. With education and communication as the primary goals of the insert, this dynamic piece provided an overview of credit unions in general but focused specifically on the strength of local credit unions. Our theme, "Join Us!," and related graphic design reinforced the direction and look of the "international" campaign but with a personal touch. Photos represented all ages and all walks of life…from professionals to children to retirees. In other words, credit unions are for everyone! Various ad sizes were available for the Chapter’s 17 credit unions to tell their stories, ranging in price from $80 to $530. Copywriting, graphic design, and photography were included in the ad price. Overall, the insert projected an enthusiastic, positive, inviting, and professional image for our Chapter.
