The Will County Chapter of Credit Unions held a Bowl-A-Thon fundraising event for a long-time credit union employee diagnosed with cancer, who underwent amputation of his right leg. The event raised $9,711.12 for Kathy Grzetich to help with financial concerns.
- What made it a HIGH POINT or PEAK EXPERIENCE:
More than 100 credit union employees, friends and family came out to support Kathy and enjoyed an evening of food and fun.
- What POSTIVE IMPACT did it have for the participants and the Chapter?
The Credit Unions of the Chapter worked together as a team to help a fellow credit union employee. Kathy’s tears of appreciation and joy said it all.
